An American air strike deep inside Somalia has killed the suspected leader of al-Qa’eda in the country, witnesses and The Pentagon said. Aden Hashi Ayro, head of the al Shabaab insurgent movement, died when his home town of Dusamareb was bombed in an overnight raid by up to four US warplanes.
