Ethiopian troops have confiscated weapons



Mogadishu, -Combination of Ethiopian and Somali soldiers extended themselves at KM13 in the fringes of the Somali capital Mogadishu dawn this morning. These soldiers were in infantry form and marching in along procession, and they are believed to be from the bushy direction of Darkenly district towards KM13 location. So far there are no reports coming from the area regarding about whether arrests of civilians have taken place.
The movements of all the vehicles and people in the area subsided for hours, but later resumed.
As usual the youngsters in the KM13 area fled from their house fearing that the Ethiopian soldiers may arrest them aimlessly or torture them, because such cases had earlier happened.
The soldiers started their walk from Darkenley district where heavy confrontation occurred yesterday, and are said soldier to be trucking down what they said to be the forces that carried the attack on Darkenly police station. It is not the first time Ethiopian soldiers and Somali soldiers to carryout joint operation. also

These soldiers have taken with them three people towards their base in Jantakudicho in the outskirts of Baladweyn town. The main motive behind the taking of these three men is not manifest. Likewise some reports from the area say that in the operation the Ethiopian troops have confiscated weapons from one of the shops they have broken its door.
The situation of Baladweyn town is now reported to be cool, and the business activities are running smooth after the operations of carried by the Ethiopian troops overnight.
In the recent day the Ethiopian troops have started caring out operations inside the town, and this has alleviated the business activities in the town. Baladweyn town has several times fallen in the hands the Islamic Courts Union and last time they have chased the entire Baladweyn administration including the region commissioner Yussuf Ahmed Hagar Dabaged.

It was yesterday evening when deadly raid carried by the I.C.U forces occurred at Darkenly district particularly at the police station where five government policemen were killed, and scores of prisoners were released.
