al-shabaab Terrorist group bans trading on Fridays in southern Somalia town


The jehadist Administration in Lower Shabelle has changed business hours in the town of Jida Janaale in Lower Shabelle [southern Somalia]The market in the town of Jida Janale is the biggest gathering for traders on Fridays. Residents of Lower Shabelle gather in the market on Fridays and it has been an ongoing tradition in the Region since the colonial days in Somalia.The jehadist Administration in Lower Shabelle yesterday banned trading in the market on Fridays. Yesterday afternoon, the Islamic Administration came into the market with vehicles fitted with microphones at a time when there were thousands of people trading in the market and announced the ban on trading of Fridays.The jehadist Administration urged traders and residents of the area not to converge in the market again on a Friday, but have instead changed the business day to Thursday, instead of Friday.The jehadist Administration in Lower Shabelle also said trading on Fridays is keeping traders busy from going for the prayers. This was welcomed by area residents although the traders were dissatisfied about the change as Friday was the most profitable day for them.The ban on trading of Fridays has been anticipated by many. It comes at a time when most parts of Lower Shabelle is being ruled by Al-Shabab jehadist.mostly hawiye Residents of shabeele and centeral Somalia Region a Terrorist rebel stronghold have welcomed the advancement of Al-Shabab jehadist and its capture of various parts of Somalia .
