Explosion kills jubbaland government soldiers and officer in Somalia



BARDHERE Gedo (jubbaland)-At least four jubbaland government soldiers including a high officer have been killed after shabaab fighters targeted propelled rocket to the soldiers’ vehicles near Beled Hawo town in Gedo region of jubbaland state of somalia Thursday night, witnesses
Locals say that the shabaab insurgent forces in Gedo region targeted heavy explosion to a jubbaland government soldiers’ battle wagons heading to Balad Hawo town in Gedo region and at least four soldiers have been killed including top jubbaland government officer in the blast attack. the deceased officer was Ahmed Abdulle Magan he was the former district commissioner of Garbaharey town the regional capital of Gedo JUBBALAND for the transitional federal government of Somalia. On Tuesday a worker with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) named Ibrahim Hussein Duale, was shot while monitoring school feeding in a village in the Gedo region. al shabaab has claimed the responsibility of the attack .

The explosion attack comes as tense situations have been rising recently from Gedo region after jubbaland army entered many towns in Gedo region and those were making military movement in over the region where Islamists managed
