Islamists says AU issues should be over with dialogue

The Islamic Courts Union in Somalia has on Saturday released a press conference regarding about the African Mission in Somali. “We are greatly condemning the bombardment of AU troops in the areas where people are densely populated, they are copying the characters of their fellow Ethiopian troops who have been indiscriminately bombarding in the different sectors of the capital when they are attacked by the insurgents, the Ethiopian troops have been in Somalia for a period of 2 years and they have eventually pulled out from the capital Mogadishu and gradually from the entire country, let me remind you one thing the insurgent have been fighting the Ethiopian troops since their arrival in Mogadishu, and they have not withdrew from the country through gunpoint, but through dialogue, so if we do the same to the AMISOM troops they will automatically pull out as well, they are not stubborn” said the operation spokesman of the Islamic Courts Union which operates in Southern Somalia.
On the other hand the spokesman of AMISOM troops major Barigye Bahouku has earlier said in a press conference that the AU forces will not stand at akimbo while their troops are attacked.
It was yesterday when a suicide bomber has targeted a base of the AU troops along Maka Al-Mukarama Street in Mogadishu, but missed its target, and claimed the lives of more than 30 passengers in a bus.
