Nigeria agrees to deploy troops to Somalia

The Nigeria government has agreed to deploy troops to Somalia. In a meeting in Addis Ababa, the seat of the Africa Union, on Saturday, the Nigeria government agreed to deploy troops for a peace-keeping mission to the conflict-ridden region following the withdrawal of the Ethiopian forces from the horn of Africa.
