WFP delegation arrives in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU -A delegation from the World Food Programme (WFP) has arrived in Mogadishu and has met with Somalia’s telaban Interior jehadistAbdulkadir Ali Omar in Isaley airport in north Mogadishu, officials said on Monday.The delegation of six members led by Denise Brown the WFP's deputy director of Somalia discussed the minister about the safety of the WFP staff in the country.The delegation visited areas in the north of the capital. Aid workers are often abducted and killed in Somalia.The interior minister offered a description of the humanitarian situation in the country and vowed to protect aid workers from harm.Somalia has been hit by conflict, droughts, inflation and high cost of food, where rival factions have been fighting for the last 18 years.Somali Taliban Government cabinet name
