US concerns for Somali youth

A two-day conference intended to discuss the welfare of Somali youths in America, particularly in the State of Minnesota, opens today at the University of Minnesota School of Law in Minneapolis.
Participants will no doubt be addressing the recent FBI indictments against two of their compatriots who have been accused of providing assistance to the islamic militant group Al-Shabaab.This follows the disappearance of 20 American citizens of Somali origin who are said to be fighting alongside Al-Shaabab.Peter Ndoro spoke to our reporter, Hassan Kiawu, on his way to the conference...more..http://ow.ly/i46Y
