MOGADISHU (TF.SF)—Hizbul Islam Terrorist Insurgent group In Luq town have been reportedly merged with al Shabaab Terrorist which is fighting for to topple the Somali government and impose its version of Islamic Sharia in the country. The merger comes days after Hizbul Islam Terrorist group recaptured the town of Luq from pro government soldiers.
Ahmed Mohamud Salad, the leader of the group in Luq district in Gedo region jubbaland told reporters that they agreed to be part of al Shabaab Terrorist fighters, but he did not disclose the reason behind their merger.
Officials from the two groups met in Luq on Friday afternoon and agreed issues including uniting their force to fight the government soldiers in Somalia’s Gedo Region of Jubbaland State of Somalia . The force of the group Hizbul Islam Terrorist is weakening these days after more fighters with military trucks defected to the government recently.
