Terrorist Hawiye wing of Al-Shabaab militant group has issued on Thursday hard conditions for the release of a French security agent it has been holding as hostage for three months. The militants demanded from the French government to stop supporting Somalia's government and withdraw its warships from the coast off Somalia. From The militant group has also demanded from France to put pressure on the African Union peace keepers to pull out from Somalia. But, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner immediately rejected the conditions. He told France-Info radio that Paris' support for the Somali government remains firm. Kouchner said he met with Somali President Sheikh Sharif and his ministers twice and that France will not stop supporting the government which represents Somalia. The Frenchman was abducted along with another agent from Sahafi hotel in Mogadishu on 14 July, but the other agent said he escaped from his kidnappers in August.
