EU president receives credentials from Somali Ambassador : IOM and UNDP Team Up to Bring back Diaspora Expertise to Somalia ,

The European Union has on Tuesday afternoon officially received credentials from the new Somali ambassador to the European Union Noor Hassan Hussein (Noor Ade).
Ambassador Noor Ade has officially handed over his credentials to the current President of the European Union Honorable Frank Belfreg, who is as well the state Minister for Foreign affairs in Sweden.After his credentials were officially accepted by the European Union the Somali Ambassador to the EU who is also the Somali Ambassador to Italy has conveyed a message from the Somali President his Excellency Sheikh Shariff Sheikh Ahmed, which was that the EU should fulfill the financial pledges it has previous declared to support the Somali government and the job creation for the youngsters. After that the EU president Mr. Frank Belfreg has asked the Ambassador to what extent is it possible to talk to Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys the man who is strongly against the Somali government. “Since Aweys has returned back to the country in April 2009, after been away for 2 good years the Somali government has been warmly, and I personally never thought that he will be reluctant to this stage, I thought that he will be spearheading the reconciliation process in the country, but this has not happened and it is very unfortunate” said Noor Hassan Hussein the Somali ambassador to the EU and Italy. .
