Ongoing Power Struggle Between Jehadist fight in southern Somalia

At least 15 terrorist, most of them combatants have been killed and 16 others injured after fighting erupted between forces loyal to two Somali terrorist militant groups in southern Somali town of Hagar, officials and witnesses said on Monday. The fighting started on early hours of the day and involved fighters loyal to Al-Shabaab terrorist and Hizbul Islam terrorist, said eyewitnesses Terrorist Sheikh Hassan Yaqub Ali, an Al-Shabaab Terrorist spokesman in Somalia’s Lower Jubba region said his group have successfully repelled attempt by rival group Hizbul Islam and Ethiopian rebel group ONLF to take over the control of the strategic town. “They attacked our positions in Hagar town. We repelled them and killed some fighters of Hizbul Islam and ONLF,” he told reporters. He however declined to give out the exact number of casualties from his group side, only claiming that they have retained the control of the town. On other hand, T errorist Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Islam ‘Madobe’ who is a top Hizbul Islam Terrorist official (OGADEN WING) group known as Anole ...and Raskaboni in the region have rejected Al-Shabaab’s Terrorist claims, saying there are no ONLF Terrorist fighters fighting on their side. “We defeated the attackers who carried out offensives on the town. And there are no ONLF Terrorist forces fighting alongside us, it is all lies,” he said. A spokesman for ONLF by the name Hussein M. Nur has also down played claims that some of their forces are fighting alongside warring Somali groups, saying there is no need for that. Reports say the fighting has spread to neighbouring Middle Jubba with both sides building up military for a major confrontation. The two groups, which have large presences in southern Somali regions, have been engaged in deadly warfare that is threatening the stability of the regions.
