Somalia: Government troops seize Baladweyn town

Yussuf Ahmed Hagar Dabaged the former regional commissioner of Hiran has on Monday confessed that the Somali government had taken control of Baladweyn town the capital of Hiran region in central Somalia. “The entire of Baladweyn town is under the control of the troops of the Somali government and we have ousted the so called militants of Hizbul Islam Terroris twho have unlawfully invaded the town, we are now after them we shall not leave them until we eliminate them from the whole region, they are calling themselves to Muslims and as it was publicly announced that the government of Somalia will administer the country in the Islamic Sharia law so I cannot say the reason as to why thet are opposing this government, in fact these rebels in the country like Terrorist Al-Shabab and Hizbul-Islam are groups who are working on the interest of other people, and I am sure that the government will eventually win over them” said Dabaged the former regional commissioner of Hiran province speaking to mogdishu radio.
The Somali government commanders who are in the frontline of the fighting between them and Hizbul-Islam said that they have not received any sort of military auxiliary from the Ethiopian troops. On the other hand the tension of the town is high and the Islamic militants of Terrorist Hizbul-Islam said that they will reorganize themselves and retake the town of Baladweyn.
