Al-Shabab imposes new rules in Learning centers
The Islamist administration in the town of Marka the headquarters of the lower shabelle region in southern Somalia has on Sunday imposed new rules in the schools operating in the town of Marka. Abuu Muscab Hassan Noor the head of the department of education in the lower shabelle region addressing the school principals and the teachers in the region said that there are several things which need to be correct in the education system in the region.“From now onwards we would like to see the boys and the girls taking the lessons in two different classrooms, the girls should be dressed in thick veils and lastly they should wear gowns which are inches below their heels, as well the boys should wear trousers which are above their heels” said Abuu Muscab addressing the press instantly after addressing the school principals and teachers.
