Somalia’s militant group Al-Shabaab has retaken the control of Dobley, a southern Somali border town located near Kenya, witnesses said.Heavily armed Al-Shabaab militia entered the town without any military resistance from their arch-rivals Hizbul Islam who have vacated it.Hundreds of terrified residents started fleeing the town, fearing worst may happen as both groups vowed to intensify their military campaigns.“Al-Shabaab has returned and the residents are terrified, fearing eruption of a possible war between the two groups,” said Haji Yussuf, one of the town’s intellectuals
Hizbul Islam fighters loyal to high ranking official Sheikh Ahmed Madobe took the control of the town on Wednesday after engaging Al-Shabaab in heavy clashes that killed at least 15 people, mostly combatants from both side
