Heathrow Airport Worker Arrested in Terror Plot

Yesterday I said I didn't think it was that big of a deal that a man who worked for British Airways was arrested in a terror fund raising plot. That was because he worked at a call center and so presumably was not in any position to use his job with BA to further the plot.
But this guy? He worked at Heathrow.
Now, I've flown in and out of Heathrow on many occasions. That a would-be terrorist or jihad sympathizer works there is not surprising in the least. But still, what are you going to do, fly in to Gatwick? That's just crazy talk!
One wonders which terrorist group these lot were trying to raise funds for? Shabaab? Lashkar-e-Taiba? The Caucuses Emirate? AQIM? With each group comes sympathy from a fair number of the children of immigrants who feel a connection to their parents' homeland and towards jihad. One wonders if they ever think about the reason their parents left in the first place. Namely that their countries of origin sucked, with no small amount of that suckiness being directly attributed to a certain religion of peace.more
