Nairobi, Kenya (AHN) - Kenyan security officers arrested three more suspected terrorist in Nairobi Thursday.
Security officers said that the three suspects are being questioned over possible terrorism actions. According to a police report, the suspects were attempting to travel to Somalia.
The suspects were in possession of Kenyan, Australian, and American passports, said the security officer in charge of the investigation.
They are currently being questioned at the police headquarters by anti-terrorism police unit.
"There were no specific charges against the suspects but they were under investigation and we will let you know if they will be charged in court," the police source added.
The name of one of the three suspects was similar to that of the terror suspect who escaped from police custody a few days ago at the Kenya-Uganda border.
On Wednesday, four other suspected terrorists were arrested in Kenya’s coastal town of Mombasa and were due to be flown to Nairobi for further interrogation.
