The Emergence of Awdalland a Vital Reality Check for Secessionist One-Clan-Somaliland

Awdalland is located in the North West of Somalia. The Awdal population are known for their ancient civilization going back to the Adal Empire few centuries back, Somali Unity, promotion of education, development, and peace. These peace loving regions of Somalia have been occupied by the SNM rebel group in 1991. In those difficult circumstances the Awdalites have shown political maturity and chose peace over war and tried to negotiate a peaceful settlement with the SNM and the one clan supporter for the group. Unfortunately, the SNM misunderstood the wisdom behind the awdalites decision in avoiding the situation from deteriorating further. Hence, the SNM and its staunch supporter, the one clan, have made a grave mistake in their wrong interpretation of the Awdalites' deciscion as capitulation.As a result, after almost 20 years of patience and back and forth with the secessionists, the Awdalites have realized that their efforts ended with no avail. Therefore, the Awdal news outlets have now reported the creation of the Awdalland Republic. In essence, this means that the Awdal Regions are no longer part in secessionist One-Clan-Somaliland. In the video above, singer UbaH Fahma is singing for the Awdalland Flag. Regretfully, it's reported that Ubah fahma, the singer, is jailed and tortured by the One-Clan-Secessionist Administration in Hargeysa for composing and singing the song in support for Awdalland!!!Accordingly, the Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn of North Somalia (SSC) is sending their heart felt congratulations to the newly formed Somali entity of Awdalland jurisdiction and wish them the best luck in their endevours. As well, the SSC is extending its preparedness for cooperation in all fronts including seeking a working model of Somali Unity.
