(TF.SF)The chairman of Ahlu-Sunnah waljama in southern Somalia Sheikh Hassan Sheikh Abdi (Qoryolely) has remarked about a day ago combat between the fighters of Al-shabab and those of Al-Suunah Waljama bolstered by the Somali government soldiers in the southwest district of Bula-Hawo in Gedo region.

The chairman says that combination of their warriors and the Somali government soldiers have gained success victory over Al-Shabab fighters.

“We killed 60 of the fighters of Al-shabab and wounded many of them, why I have mentioned the death toll and not the wounded ones is because I have myself counted the number of men they had lost in the battle, but as the wounded ones they have got time to vanish or taken by their fellow tired colleagues, and I am sure they won’t dare to come and attack Bula-Hawo district they have now realized who we are” said Sheikh Qoryoley the chairman of Ahlu-Sunnah Waljama in southern Somalia.

The chairman has added that the last destination which the attackers stopped after having failed to take control over the district is Garbaharey which is the provincial headquarters of Gedo region. On their side the chairman of Ahlu-Suunah Waljama has also added that they have so far lost 2 of their fightrs and 3 have sustained injuries.

Apart from mentioning the death toll of each side Sheikh Qoryoley says that they have confiscated weapons of all kinds including Rocket Propel Grenades and other light armaments from the fighters of Al-Shabab.

The Chairman has categorically denied earlier claims from Al-Shabab offucauls that Bula-Hawo is under their authority and has invited the press to come see the truth with their naked eyes.
