Two Immigrants One from Mexico, One From Africa, guess who does better?

This is quick story how Spanish speakers are falling behind other immigrants to their detriment. Both young women immigrated to the U.S. at age 3, both went to California public high schools, but the girl from Somali Africa speaks English very well and is proceeding with her college dreams, the Spanish speaker needs to take remedial English to be able to proceed.
