The general secretary of the Mogadishu administration of the Transitional Federal Government, Abdikafi Hilowle Osman accused Somali's Aid agencies for supporting the hard-lines in war-torn country, Radio Garowe Reports.
Mr. Hilowle blamed Muslim Aid, ICRC, Islamic Relief, NRC and DRC assisting the insurgent group instead of the civilians.
"We urging the agencies to stop distributing Aid' to the Al-shabaab, but help the refugees who live where the government controls," said Hilowle
The secretary also warns the agencies to stop supply relieves to the rebels who fighting with government, vows action will be taken immediately.
"The interim government will ban the agencies if they continue assisting the rebels led by Al-shabaab," Hilowle added.
On 9 August 2010, the Somali Islamic insurgent group, Al Shabaab, publicly accused three humanitarian agencies--World Vision, the Adventist Development and Relief Organisation (ADRA) and Diakonia (a joint organisation of five Swedish churches)--of proselytizing; consequently banning them from any further activities.
In December of 2009, Al Shabaab banned the activities of the UN Mine Action organisation, which specialised in removing and dismantling mines, saying that they were inciting disobedience against the Islamic administration.
Al-Shabaab, which wants to impose its own version of Islamic law across the Horn of African nation, has previously banned many international aid agencies from operating in areas under its control.
The Horn of African country has been marred by years of civil war and constant drought which affected nearly half of the population.
