Al-shabab: ‘TFG, AMISOM’s attacks failed’

Sheik Ali Mohamud Raghe (Sheik Ali Dere), the spokesman of Al-shabab fighters has Tuesday said that they had failed planned attacks of the African Union troops AMISOM and the transitional government of Somalia.

“We know more that AMISOM and government troops wanted to storm our positions, but we had achieved to make it unsuccessful. They wanted to attack our positions,” said Sheik Ali Mohamud Raghe The spokesman who is in Kismayu, the centre of lower Jubba region in southern Somalia said that they had protected them by attacking their military positions in more different areas in the capital before they start attacking Al-shabab adding that they killed more soldiers and seized weapons during the attacks. The spokesman also said that the government did not succeed invasions planned to weaken the ability of Al-shabab administrations in south and central Somalia. “The international community also failed to build the government, you hear there is disagreement between Sharifs, Farmajo was elected or was not elected. There is dispute between officials of the government and so on. Then Mehiga will come to them, it is endless thing,” Ali Dere
How ever the statement of Al-shabab comes as Al-shabab fighters had continued attacks against the transitional government of Somalia and AMISOM troops in Mogadishu.
