Government official denounces Al-shabab administration in southern Somalia
BELET-HAWO Sonalia (TF.SF) he spokesman of Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a and government troops of Gedo region in southern Somali Sharif Abdiwahid Sharif Aden has denounced Al-shabab administration of Belet-hawo town in southern Somalia for threatening residents of the town
Al-shabab fighters had taken over the control of town in the past weeks from the Islamist clerics of Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a and since then the fighters continued threatening to the people of the town accusing them they had worked with both Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a and Somali government.
The spokesman said that the fighters pressed on the civilians mainly the women and children to take part what they called Jihad (Islamic war) pointing out that they knew what went on there.
Shairf Abdiwahid denied the statement of Al-shabab that they had failed planned attacks aimed to be attacked their bases adding that they would respond the statement and would seize control of the town once again for the coming days.
The statement of Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a comes as there had been military movement making by government soldiers and Ahlu Sunna around Dolow town of Gedo region in southern Somalia for proposals to seize control of areas under the management of Al-shabab.
