Sweden: Mohamoud Jama, 22, and Bille Ilias Mohamed, 26, get four years in prison each for plotting suicide bomb attacks in Somalia

Breaking News    . “I am very disappointed at the Swedish authorities,”

STOCKHOLM - A Swedish court has sentenced only two men to four years each in prison for plotting suicide bomb attacks in Somalia.

The Goteborg District Court, on Sweden's west coast, says the two planned to commit suicide attacks that would "cause widespread destruction."
The court says the men, both Swedish citizens aged 23 and 26, belonged to the Somali al-Qaida-linked insurgent group al-Shabab. Police did not name them.
The court says their purpose was to destabilize the country, causing fear among the Somalian population and interfering with the work of organizations such as the United Nations and the African Union.
They were arrested in May and June as part of an investigation into Somalia-linked terrorism activities in the Nordic country.
