Al Shabaab Threatens to Attack Gov't Checkpoint

Mogadishu — Al shabaab fighters will attack Mogadishu's Ex-control Afgoye, a checkpoint where Somali government forces have a base, an Al shabaab official said on Thursday.The spokesman of Al Shabaab for military operations, Sheikh Abdulaziz Abu Mus'ab, who held a press conference in Mogadishu, said that their fighters will attack Ex-control Afgoye if Somali government forces there have not stopped bothering Somali people using the junction. Abu Mus'ab accused Somali soldiers of removing the yashmaks (Niqab) from the faces of Muslin women by using their hands.He vowed that they will target Somali government officers who control the checkpoint in their houses and everywhere.
