Somali government gives asylum to Libyan ambassador to Somalia


Mogadishu  Somalia(TF.SF)-Somali transitional federal government has on Tuesday given asylum Libyan’s ambassador to Somalia as he resigned from that post after the protest stormed his country, reports said.

The Libyan ambassador to Somalia, Ise Rabi’ Ashur has been given a political asylum by the Somali transitional federal government today in an occasion the Somali premier’s office in Mogadishu.
“The government guarantees the life, security and dignity of the ambassador and can stay in Somalia till the ambassador decides to leave the country, Somali premier,” Mohamed Abdulahi said. Mr.Farmajo called for Libyan people not harm Somalis in their country as they are part of violence in their country but seeking daily bread.

Rabi’ Ashur thanked Somali transitional federal government for how it gave him cordial welcome to the asylum given to him and also called Libyans to damage Somalis there as their country is lack of security.
