At least eight people have been killed and 12 injured in fighting and bomb blast in Somalia's war-ravaged capital Mogadishu on Wednesday, Witnesses told .
Fighting between Somali government troops and Al-Shabaab radical militants erupted in Mogadishu outskirts; witnesses told GO that both of the warring sides used heavy machine guns and mortars that left dead eight civilians and injured dozens.
"I saw the dead bodies of two government soldiers and three civilians," a witness told .
He adds that other civilians were wounded in the clashes "I saw wounded civilians bleeding outskirts of the capital".
Meanwhile, extremist militias bombed a house of Somali government police officer in Wadajir district of Mogadishu and injured five people. The district soldiers arrested four suspected people for the incident.
Somalia was without central government since 1991, when warlords overthrown Siad Barre's Administration.
