Somali president Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed visit to the republic of Tanzania

Mogadishu (tf.sf) Somalia interim president, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed accompanied by several ministers is currently visiting the republic of Tanzania.

The president and his delegates reached Darussalam, the capital of Tanzania on Friday where they were cordially welcomed at Julius Nyerere International Airport by Tanzanian president Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete.
On the honor of the president was given a 21-gun salute as Tanzanian music band played Somalia national anthem.

Among the delegates spearheaded by the president were; the ministry of information Abdikarim Hassan Jama and the state minister for security Ahmed Ali Yaqle.

President Sheikh Sharif had short meeting with Tanzanian chief army Gen. Davis Mwamunyange. The meeting focused the stabilization of Somalia and the efforts made to remove the extremists from the country.
After discussion between the two head of states, Tanzanian president pledged his nation will provide training to Somalia national army as well as to refresh the relation between the two nations.

President of Tanzania noted that his readiness to help Somalia fight against al Shabab extremists and pirates in the Somalia coast.
