Ethiopian Army Demand Ransom For The Release of kidnapped Somali Army Commander MP : Bare Aden Shire The Former Somali Defence Minister

Ethiopian forces based in Somalia`s Dolow District of Gedo Region, southwestern Somalia,  kidnapped somali army commander ,The Ethiopian government “arrested”  Bare Aden Shire, aka Bare Hirale, who is an MP for the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia and a commander of clan militia in the area,we report on 10 May. Report from dolow says Ethiopian are Demanding  Ransom Money according to Some Mareehan tribal leaders. They want kidnapped Somali Army Commander  MP : Bare Aden Shire  The Former Somali Defence Minister released immediately, demand an apology and an explanation .The senior tribal leaders said This will undermine Undermine the War on Terror.

The MP is reported to have been arrested following War Strategy and Leadership  “dispute with Ethiopian troops over the ongoing fighting in the region”, adds the source.

The Ethiopian government is said to have been “playing an active role” in the fight against Al-Shabab in southwestern Somalia region, and has been backing the Transitional Federal Government forces.

It is unclear when the MP will be released. Hirale`s arrest comes as rift has also emerged between senior army officials leading the fighting in the area.
Somali government troops, with the collaboration of moderate Islamic group Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama`a had captured several towns from Al-Shabab in the past few weeks.
