Somali Leaders welcome the death of al Qaeda number one Osama Bin Laden

Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed and Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed have welcomed the death of the most wanted al-Qaeda Leader Osama Bin Laden.

Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed  said that Osama was to blame for the ongoing violence with foreign fighters present in Somalia who have caused more harm to the innocent Somali population citing examples of the killings that took place in Beledweyne, the suicide attacks on Hotel Shamow and Hotel Muna as well as the rampant killings that is on the rise in many parts of the country.
The PM said that Osama Bin Laden was planning on making Somalia a safe haven for terrorist and his evil operations and that his death was a sign of victory to the anti terrorism operations.
Somali president also called on the Somali people to participate actively in the Somali peace process and lend a hand to the security organs so that to combat terrorism and put an end to the suffering of the innocent Somali people.
PM  at the same venue was the Somali Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed as well as other key government officials who have expressed their welcome of the death of Osama Bin Laden.
Their meeting came after Al-qaeda’s Leader was yesterday killed in Pakistan by special American forces.
