Meeting to support Farmajo’s achievements held in Mogadishu


A meeting to support the achievements of former premier of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo was held in Sahafi II hotel in Mogadishu.
The meeting was attended by elders, politicians, women and members of Somalia’s Parliament. Participants expressed their support for the achievements of the former Prime minister.
“Farmajo is a patriot and a brave man who has secured a place in the annals of history. He improved and accounted for the government’s revenue that was misappropriated by previous administrations and started to pay the soldiers,” said Ugas Abdullahi Aar, an intellect who was present in the meeting.
Meanwhile, attendants of the meeting have also expressed their support for the incumbent deputy prime minister, Abdiwali Mohamed Ali, as the new prime minister, and said that he is the right person for the post.
The speakers in the meeting called upon the international community to move out of the transitional period.
