Thousands make large demonstrations against resignation of Somali PM in Mogadishu

Thousands of the people in Mogadishu accompanied more government soldiers against an increasing reports of Somali Prime Minister’ resignation have made large demonstrations in the streets of the Somali capital Mogadishu on Thursday.

Most of the people in Mogadishu changed their moral as they heard the initial results came out from the mediating meeting between the high officials of the transitional government of Somalia and expressed sorrowful over the statements stating that the PM of Somalia would resign.

During the 6 months that the Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed (Farmajo) served for the country, he had done more on the security, good governance and more others that had been achieved the other former PMs passed in the country.

Burning tyres, and argry people could be seen in the highway and streets of the Somali capital Mogadishu as Km4 ad the people were carrying slogans written words supporting the Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.

“We can not forget our PM, he cleaned the bandits from the streets of Mogadishu, he beat the enemies ( al shabab), he is an honest man that also gave every soldiers’ salary permanently, so now what we expect is al shabab militias to come KM4, we are against and against the decision to resign the Prime Minister,” said group the demonstrators







More of the security forces had also attended the demonstrations who were keeping guard the security of the demonstrators in Mogadishu as most of the business centers in the capital were closed as the rumors of the Somali Prime Minister’s resignation rose.

It was the largest demonstration happens in the capital in the recent months and it is unclear whether the Somali Prime Minister would announce resignation or not.
