An explosion in south-west Somali city of Baidoa Farmers' market has killed dozen people  people and injured nine others, the latest attacks on the area since Somali and Ethiopian forces wrested control of the city, reports say.The explosion near the area abattoir was said targeting a vehicle transporting government soldiers passing at the area.Reports say the explosion was a remotely controlled landmine planted on the roadside.Three of the dead are said to be civilians at the abattoir while the other two are the government soldiers targeted during the attack. The injured people were taken to health facilities in the city for treatments.The incident comes four days after a government soldier was injured in a grenade attack on a military base in the city.Armed gangs last Thursday hurled hand grenades into a government military base inside the former ministries compound.The African Union force in Mogadishu has recently deployed its soldiers into the city in order to take over from the Ethiopian troops who wrested control of the city from Al-Shabaab.
