Al-Shabaab New Year's Day attack rattles Somalia's security facade

Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility Thursday (January 2nd) for a twin bombing at the Jazeera Hotel in Mogadishu that killed at least 10 people and injured many more, boasting it was the start of its campaign for the new year.
