Ethio-Somali Troops Conducted Joint Search Operation in Mogadishu

Mogadishu,-The Ethiopian troops in Mogadishu flanked by soldiers from the Somali transitional government conducted search operation in some areas at Yaqshid district in the northern direction in Somali capital Mogadishu, these places where the operation was heavily conducted include Arafat, and the former insurance edifice which also within the area. The search operation seemed to be having links with heavy battle between the insurgents and the Somali government soldiers which has taken place yesterday in the same area. In that combat of yesterday both sides sustained heavy losses of lives thought the actual figures of the death is not manifest. This operation was in action for more than 3 hours and it has created anxiety to the few residents in the area. The business centers in the area remained unopened today, and the reports from the ground says that Ethio-Som soldiers have taken with them three Yaqshid juveniles The whereabouts and the final fate of these youngsters are yet unclear. Sometimes it happens the Ethiopian troops to take with them youngster in search operation, an in most cases the youngsters flee operation area before time.
