Somali talaban minister says ‘foreign troops are not needed in Somalia’

DJIBOUTI -Abdirahman Abdishukur,from habar-gider clan (cayr)pm from Somalia hawiye heartland/ the international contact minister of Somalia who is in Djibouti has said on Sunday that Somalia does not need any foreign troops and want to form national army of Somalia.The minister told on mogadishu radio that they are going to form the national army of Somalia specially the police and military to keep the security of the country instead of deploying foreign soldiers into the country.“What we need is our strong army of Somalia to hand over the security of the country. We don’t need foreign soldiers at all. Now we are trying to form the police and military forces of Somalia,” the international contact minister said. The Somali army will be at least 10 thousand troops, he added The statement of the international contact minister Mr. Abdirahman Abdishakur a formar jihadist comes as the Somali clerics jihadist concluded a conference for peace affairs in the Somali capital Mogadishu in over the past week and issued several articles including an article stating to leave all the foreign soldiers in the country with 120 days.
