Suicide bomber targets AMISOM soldiers in Mogadishu,Blast rocks at African Union camp in Somali capital

MOGADISHU -A car laden with explosive things has been targeted to the African Union peacekeepers especially the Burundian’s base in the Somali capital Mogadishu, witnesses told on Sunday. Sources said that the suicide bomber has targeted near the former university of Somalia which is a military base for the Burundian soldiers in the capital Mogadishu by a time some of AMISOM armored trucks were patrolling the area.There is no group that claimed the responsibility for the attack.Several mortar shells landed in Bakara market after the explosion but no casualties have been reported yet.AMISOM spokesman said “there was no suicide attack but we have been attacked mortar shells,” http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090222/wl_africa_afp/somaliaunrestafricanunion
