Kenyan troops Exchange fire with Al-Shabab

exchange of fire has taken place between al-Shabaab Terrorist an armed Islamist faction in Somalia and Kenyan troops in the boarder town of Mandera in north eastern province of Kenya on Monday night
According to a resident in Mandera who has spoken to  media  the fighting between the two sides lasted after 10 minutes or so.“I live in a place which is not far from the place where the demarcation line betweenthe two countries passes, and if I avoid telling false to the media the exchange of the fire between the two sides was in action for 10 to 15 minutes, and I have not witnessed any casualties between the two sides, but what I can confirm is that it was a combat between the al shabaab command  and the Kenyan military force” said Mohamoud Ali a resident living in Mandera Kenya speaking to media AP on Tuesday.  So far the administration of Al-Shabab in the opposite side of the Kenyan boarder has not commented about the brief exchange of the fire between their warriors and the Kenyan military troops. On Sunday three armed men from the immediate boarder town of Mandera (Bula-Hawo) who have crossed the boarder have entered Mandera and picked a  land cruiser which was the property of a certain bank in Mandera, and drove into Bula-Hawo, and in that case the Kenyan government has deployed its military personnel in the boarder to tighten the security in boarder.  It was sometimes this month when a car was similarly hijacked from Mandera by armed men, and taken to Luuq district which is 115km from the boarder between the two countries, but it was later returned after hard efforts done the authority of Mandera district gaining support from Al-Shabab.
Al-Shabab has several times threatened to attack Kenya and what it has called provocation in the boarders between Somalia and Kenya.
