Somali Transitional Federal Government has on Monday reopened former retired Martini hospital after 20 years of the collapse of the central government in 1991

Minister of health affairs, Dr. AdamHaji Ibrahim told reporters in an occasion held inside Martini hospital that the hospital would start health services with in today.The minister told that the doctors who will operate in the hospital were already prepared and would be from ministry of health affairs saying that began from today the hospital would start public services.Minister of the defense affairs and deputy prime minister, A/hakim Mohamu Haji Fiki accompanied with Dr. Adam Haji Ibrahim, minister of health to the reopening ceremony of the hospital by which Somali Transitional Federal Government organized, reports said.The defense minister said that it’s something important for whole the society and praised the ministry of health of its crucial role adding they have prepared high medical supplies for hospital.Martini hospital becomes the first hospital that Somali government rearranges or restarts its duty as Madine hospital functions privately and doesn’t manage directly as it was Somali police hospital.
It was yesterday when Somali premier, Farmajo visited Martini hospital who provided salaries to the former Somali disabled army who lived in the hospital.This is said that it was another step taken into the right side was wanted earlier than this time as it’s the first time public services starts by T.F.G government.
