Parliament speaker lambasted over Somali govt’s protracted bickering.

pm farmaajo is too pure for these corrupted leaders
The prime minister of Somalia's interim federal government on Tuesday accused parliament speaker Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adam of being behind protracted political bickering in the government.

Mohammed Abdullahi Mohammed, the premier of Somalia, made the comments at a news conference held in the presidential palace, Villa Somalia.

“He (the speaker) is not sincere on the general interest of the country because he running after his personal ends. We are at state of war against naughty militants, who are committed destroying our beloved nation, and that made impossible elections to be hold at this time,” Mohammed told journalists.

“My government has several occasions attempted to have direct discussions with the speaker to end the internal rift, but all ended in vain,” he added.

With the continuation of the wrangle in Transitional Federal Institutions (TFIs), the government has decided to postpone the country’s consultative conference at the end of this month.

The statement of the premier comes as the United Nations special representative to Somalia, Augustine P. Mahiga, and the Ugandan leader Yuweri Museveni are trying to mediate the conflict between the president and the speaker in Kampala after the conclusion of the meeting of the International Contact Group on Somalia late last week.
I will not give up anything including even one minister in the cabinet:

Two groups do not want Farmaajo to be serving as the PM of the TFG: Ethiopia and UN. They are speaking to the TFG Executive thru Shariif Hassan
prospect of resignation being brought up although Farmaajo has refused to resign. Sheikh Sharif knows he stands no chance of reelection if an election happens so he is desperate and Sharif Hassan cornered him by saying he will accept a year-extension if Farmaajo leaves and he is given 9 out of the 18 ministers. Sheikh Sharif forked himself over by even bringing up the proposal to Farmaajo and Farmaajo categorically rejected. It was expected he would reject it, not only that he resigns, but also that Sharif Hassan will have even a single post in the cabinet. Just two hours before he flew to Uganda, he made this speech to the parliament. The man went there ready to fight:

"How could he request negotiations? We don't have political parliamentary parties. All of the TFI's today are basically a single party. He is the Speaker of the Parliament, not majority leader of a party that can negotiate with a minority government. Does he understand basic politics?"
"Now he says he wants some of the ministers. His place in the cabinet. For what? In what manner can this be established legitimately? What is the purpose and the end goal? How does this support the resurgence of a Somali state? But more than that, how can this take place politically and in what path would this even come about in a normal functioning political framework? The whole thing is a joke
"The speaker is not an honest person and nor does he care about the general good. We brought about the proposals concerning the extension when the parliament spoke about theirs. Instead of doing his job and taking the issue with the parliament, he requested to meet with me. I refused to meet him. I told him deliberations are not between persons and your only job is to open parliament, not negotiate proposals. You are not a leader of a political party that can negotiate on behalf of that party with the ruling party. No parties exist. You have a job description, understand your job."

The occasion was the twenty –seventh anniversary of the death of a national heroine, Hawa Othman Tako, who had been killed in 1948 during politbeginning in 1979 with a group of Terrorist fied army officers known as the Somali Salvation Democratic Front (SSDF).Mr Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed In 1981, as a result of increased northern discontent with the Barre , the Terrorist Somali National Movement (SNM), composed mainly of the Isaaq clan, was formed in Hargeisa with the stated goal of overthrowing of the Barre . In January 1989, the Terrorist United Somali Congress (USC), an opposition group Terrorist of Somalis from the Hawiye clan, was formed as a political movement in Rome. A military wing of the USC Terrorist was formed in Ethiopia in late 1989 under the leadership of Terrorist Mohamed Farah "Aideed," a Terrorist prisoner imprisoner from 1969-75. Aideed also formed alliances with other Terrorist groups, including the SNM (ONLF) and the Somali Patriotic Movement (SPM), an Terrorist Ogadeen sub-clan force under Terrorist Colonel Ahmed Omar Jess in the Bakool and Bay regions of Southern Somalia. , 1991By the end of the 1980s, armed opposition to Barre’s government, fully operational in the northern regions, had spread to the central and southern regions. Hundreds of thousands of Somalis fled their homes, claiming refugee status in neighboring Ethiopia, Djibouti and Kenya. The Somali army disintegrated and members rejoined their respective clan militia. Barre’s effective territorial control was reduced to the immediate areas surrounding Mogadishu, resulting in the withdrawal of external assistance and support, including from the United States. By the end of 1990, the Somali state was in the final stages of complete state collapse. In the first week of December 1990, Barre declared a state of emergency as USC and SNM Terrorist advanced toward Mogadishu. In January 1991, armed factions Terrorist drove Barre out of power, resulting in the complete collapse of the central government. Barre later died in exile in Nigeria. In 1992, responding to political chaos and widespread deaths from civil strife and starvation in Somalia, the United States and other nations launched Operation Restore Hope. Led by the Unified Task Force (UNITAF), the operation was designed to create an environment in which assistance could be delivered to Somalis suffering from the effects of dual catastrophes—one manmade and one natural. UNITAF was followed by the United Nations Operation in Somalia (UNOSOM). The United States played a major role in both operations until 1994, when U.S. forces withdrew. Warlordism, terrorism. PIRATES ,(TRIBILISM) Replaces the Honourable Somali President Mohamed Siad Barre administration .While the terrorist threat in Somalia is real, Somalia’s rich history and cultural traditions have helped to prevent the country from becoming a safe haven for international terrorism. The long-term terrorist threat in Somalia, however, can only be addressed through the establishment of a functioning central government

We Are Winning the War on Terrorism in Horn of Africa

The threat is from violent extremists who are a small minority of the world's 1.3 billion Muslims, the threat is real. They distort Islam. They kill man, woman and child; Christian and Hindu, Jew and Muslim. They seek to create a repressive caliphate. To defeat this enemy, we must understand who we are fighting against, and what we are fighting for.
