Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab Terror Group Fire On Football Players, Killing One Young Boy

Elasha Biyaha — Al Qaeda linked terror group of Al shabaab on Tuesday opened fire on a group of young teenagers playing football in Elasha Biyaha IDPs camps just outside of Mogadishu, witnesses said.At least one of footballers was killed and another wounded in Al shabaab's shooting spree, according to eyewitnesses who asked for anonymity for security reasons.They said the injured boy, who was among the players of football game, is in critical condition.After the shootout, the Al shabaab fighters apprehended at least 5 of the teens while the others were said to have escaped.Al shabaab in the past has banned playing and watching football in the areas under their control.
