BELET HAWO (tf.sf) – Somali transitional federal government forces have detained a number of Al shabaab suspects after search operations in parts of Gedo region in southern Somalia, an official said Friday.The governor of Gedo region for the interim government, Mohamed Abdi Kalil told local radio in mogadishu the aim of the security crackdown was to assure the entire peace and tranquility of Gedo.He added that they arrested 4 suspects who are right now in a detention center in the region and investigations are underway. He vowed they will continue their operations until they decimate what he called anti peace ones (Al shabaab fighters).Asked about if there is a tension within government forces there, the governor denied all those reports
