A few days ago, an American air strike killed Aden Hashi Ayro, the military commander of Al Shebab, a militant Somali organization. For any number of reasons, the world is better off without Mr. Aryo, who is known for his intolerance and brutality. In his campaign to establish a radical Islamic state in Somalia, he called for attacks on United Nations personnel who are trying to bring humanitarian relief to this devastated country.
