KAMPALA ---Somali talaban president, Sharif Sheik Ahmed, from Bujumbura Burundi arrived Friday in Kampala for a two-day official visit to Burundi. The president has met with Ugandan counterpart Yuweri Museveni and talked about many issues including the Ugandan troops in Somalia. In an interview with the press, Sheikh Sharif stated that the purpose of his visit was to strengthen relations between Somalia and Uganda.ex- jehadist The Somali talaban president Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed with the foreign minister Mohamed Abdulahi Omaar, finance minister Sharif Hassan Sheik Adan and some other ministers is visiting Uganda for the first time since he was elected president on 31 January.
