Talaban Parliament to endorse Sharia on Saturday
Somalia parliament is due to endorse the implementation of the Sharia Law after the cabinet ministers had approved and submitted to the legislature, officials said on Saturday. The deputy speaker of the parliament Osman Elmi Boqorre, said the parliament would discuss the Islamic Law enforcement today. “The Parliament is discussing the implementation of the Sharia today and I think it would not be difficult to pass the Law,” said Mr. Boqorre. The cabinet ministers Somali Taliban Government had approved Sharia Law the proposal which Mostly hawiye people welcomed. The Somali Taliban Presiden, Somali leader agrees Sharia Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed promised to rule the country with Sharia when he was elected to end the insurgency, but Al-Shabaab jehadist Somalia:Al-Shabab faction rejected the proposal and described “hypocritical.” Islamic .”hawiye clerics and clan elders have been demanding from the government to quickly implement the Sharia Law. If the parliament endorses the Islamic Law, it will be difficult to the Al Shabab Islamist rebels to get support from the population in their fighting against the government led by president Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed
