The two French men Kidnappin by habar-gidir hawiye in the Somalia capital Mogadishu on early Tuesday were confirmed to be intelligence officers from the French foreign ministry but have been operating as journalists.They were abducted from hawiye own Sahafi Hotel in south of the capital by armed men loyal to Terrorist Hizbul Islam according to the Hawiye Hotel manager. Sources say the French men have been taken to house located in Laba-Dhagah village on 30 Road in Wardhigley district as hostages.Locals said the kidnapped men sparked argument betweenHabar gidir - hawiye Clan Hizbul Islam and al-shabaab militants just around the area where the French men being held. Terrorist Al-Shabab militant group want to hand the foreign men and slaughter them saying that they are French spies habar -gidir Hawiye Terrorist Hizbul Islam fighters dismissed the al-shabaab demand and arguing that they only want for ransom money.Militias from the rival sides occupied the area and feared for possible confrontation over the foreign hostages.The Islamic officials from both sides have today been meeting in Orfane house in mostly( hawiye) Habar-gidir Wardhigley neighborhood over their action on these French officers and it is widely waited how they would agree.The beleaguered government of Somalia did not yet give any comments about the kidnapped French men but the French foreign ministry confirmed that the two men were working with the government.

PARIS (AFP) — Two French security advisors were kidnapped in Somalia by criminals seeking profit rather than by terrorists looking to score political points, the Somali defence minister said.
The two men, French government agents, were seized at gunpoint from their Mogadishu hotel on Tuesday. Both Somali and French officials have confirmed that they were on a mission to train Somali government forces."We have information on the people behind this kidnapping. We don't know their names but we know to whom they belong, their group," Defence Minister Mohammed Addi Gandhi told Radio France Internationale."They are an armed group. They might want a ransom, but it's not a political kidnapping," he added."They're not known to be Al-Shabaab , or as Hezb al-Islamiya," he said, referring to two Islamist groups involved in Somalia's ongoing civil war."They're people who profit from the violence in Mogadishu."
