ROME, Italy, October 5, 2011/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- The foreign ministry firmly condemns a terrorist attack today in Mogadishu that cost dozens of lives.
“This latest” – the comment reads - ‘”hateful act of violence against the civilian population has once again resulted in the loss of numerous lives”.
“In expressing its solidarity with the Somali Transitional Federal Government, and deep condolences to the families of the victims, the foreign ministry underscores that “such bloody acts, claimed by the Shabaab group, will not succeed in halting the peace process under way in Somalia, and are further confirmation of the importance of the international community's continued support for the Transitional Federal institutions in their implementation of a government programme aimed at the reconstruction of the Somali Federal State”.
