Crackdown to target terrorists groups, says PM
Prime Minister Raila Odinga has rubbished speculations that terrorist's cells were using Islam to perpetrate atrocities against humanity.
He said the government's focus on the war would not victimize a particular community but pursue suspects on individual account in accordance to the laws of the land.
"Let me dispel the falsehood that these terrorists are acting in the name of Islam, or that our anti terror efforts are directed at Muslims. It would be sheer madness to target it or its followers." The Premier stressed.
Raila assured that the crackdown would only target terrorists groups adding that Islam was a religion of peace.
