At least one person has died and two other seriously wounded in a deadly fight between Al-Shabaab militant group and Ahlu Sunna fighters in Bulu’ale village, 35 km east of Dusamareb, Galgadud region.
The fighting broke out after Al-Shabaab rebel group attacked Ahlu Sunna’s military base in the village.
Abdiweli Hajji Diriye, one of the Ahlu Sunna troop’s leaders in the area told Br-kulan Radio that their forces quickly responded to the attack and repulsed the rebel group.The latest report from the area says the fighting has subsided for now, but tension still prevails in the areas around the Village, including the regional headquarter, Dusamareb town.In the past few months, there have been similar deadly clashes between the two sides over the control of Galgadud, a predominantly Sufi inhabited region in central Somalia. via Br-kulan radio
