Ahmed ali Shuke has his tongue removed in Bakara market in Somalia. Militia group ALSHABAAB ALSHABAAB armed group in Bakara Market caught three wheel barrow pushers yesterday, who used to work in Bakara Market and deliberately cut off one of the important organs in their bodies, the tongue.

One of these innocent victims who survived was shown to the local media yesterday, the mother of this victim was interviewed by the local media and she told that her son was one of the innocent workers who work between Bakara Market and Hamar Weyne district in Mogadishu, she told that they had left her son as a dead man while the others had already died, due to huge bleeding after cutting their tongues off, but fortunately he survived.This cruelty action is behind ALSHABAAB militants in Mogadishu especially those based in Bakara Market.All the people in Mogadishu had expressed major concern and shock at this incident and they are looking forward to peace in the future

Shocking news today came to light in Muqdisho the capital city of Somalia after young man named Ahmed Ali Shuuke was presented to the media in the city by his Mother and relatives to show the world that their son has had his tongue cut by the Alshabaab operating in the region.

Ahmed Ali Shuke who is unable to speak, eat or eat has confirmed to the media that the Alshabaab did cut his tongue with a knife. His Mother who spoke on his behalf explained that her son was abducted and kept as a prisoner of the Alshabaab for a long time and she has only just recently managed to find him.

This horrific act is regarded not only unislamic but also inhumane, the purpose was obviously to keep Ahmed silent, as many Somali people are unable to read or write the only opportunity to communicate is through dialogue and with that taken away the Alshabaab must have thought he would not be able to relay the information relating to the time he had spent as their captive or any incidents he has witnessed.

The Mother of Ahmed Ali Shuuke has told the media that her son receives all food through injection and according to her statement he gets fed using the needles often used for injecting Camel herds.
Muhudiin Hasan Afrah who is the uncle of the victim has also described how his nephew has lost all functionalities of the tongue, he said it has completely blocked his ability to speak and he is unable to put anything down his throat, the trauma of the incident has also affected his well being overall.
The Alshabab movement who often admit their acts of evil are yet to comment on this particular incident and it remains mystery as to the exact reason behind this grossly unjustifiable act.
